Leo & Gemini

These amazing boys were unceremoniously ditched in Solvay. The Anderson family specifically wanted two siblings, and fell in love with our handsome boys.

Jojo (Now Dexter)

Jojo (Now Dexter)

Carley & Kevin saw Dexter online, and knew right away. In person Dexter picked Carley out of several candidates and it was true love.

Bandit

Bandit

Bandit was rescued from the Onondaga nation, and bottle fed for several weeks. He is a happy, curious, cuddly little man with a shortened tail, who thinks he's a human baby. Bandit is an amazing little cat who went to an amazing mom well versed in cat special needs where he can be loved, spoiled, and taken great care of, all his life.

Calvin

Calvin

Calvin was rescued from the Onondaga nation, and bottle fed for several weeks. He was always a shy but loving little man, who went to a great home where he will be a spoiled rotten only child.

Smokey, Now Margarita (Rita)

Smokey, Now Margarita (Rita)

Smokey was rescued from the Onondaga nation, and bottle fed for several weeks. She is a happy, curious, cuddly girl with a shortened tail, which wags when she's happy like a puppy. Smokey is an amazing little cat and is going to a family who treats their cats like people and will love her very much.

Gumdrop, Now Steinway

Gumdrop, Now Steinway

Gumdrop was always the first to do everything. Smart, Fast, adaptable, and funny. He found a loving family where he will be the only cat amongst dogs, which he loves, and can have a long spoiled life.

The Professor, Now Salem

The Professor, Now Salem

The professor has been asleep since he arrived, more or less. But he woke up long enough to meet and fall in love with Christine. When he's weened he'll be going home with his new mama!

Frederick, Now Buster

Frederick, Now Buster

When Frederick arrived he was a screaming ball of hiss that had to be wrapped in a towel and syringe fed to calm down. It took him a long time to get used to people, and it's so exciting he found a loving home. Judy & Glen came to see another cat but the personality wasn't a good fit. But Frederick "The old man" was a perfect match and they took him home on the spot.

Hobbes "Tigger"

Hobbes "Tigger"

Hobbes came in and was snatched up immediately. When his adoption ultimately fell through we decided we wanted him ourselves. Tigger is an amazing, loving, wonderful little cat!

Lacey

Lacey

Lacey came in as the runt of her litter, needing to be bottle fed, and taught to eat. But it soon became apparent Lacey had some serious medical issues. It was decided we couldn't in good conscience adopt her out, as her condition is eventually fatal. So Lacey is living the rest of her life with us, loved, happy, and spoiled rotten.

Snuggles

Snuggles

Snuggles was my first foster, and we had her a long long time. She was born in a garage in the valley, one of 7 litters, and a friend of mine wanted her to keep her little dog company. This friend wasn't very responsible, and she both gave up her dog, then "forgot" about Snuggles, locking her in a room without basic needs for 6 weeks before finally dropping her at my door, expecting I would return her to the garage. After 11 years she FINALLY found her happily ever after.

Jesse

Jesse

Jesse was my first foster for the CNY CC. He was already tentatively adopted when he came to me, so he was only with me several days before going to his forever home.

Winky

Winky

Winky's previous owner suffered mental illness and was incapable of caring for her. She contracted an eye infection so bad she had to have it removed. Jackie went back to her original foster after several months. I was never updated if she was adopted.

Edgar

Edgar

Edgar was born and living in a dumpster out in Fayetteville. He was captured with the intent to neuter and release at 12wks but something went wrong. Edgar escaped from the carrier and fell to the ground, breaking both back legs. It was 10 days until he was captured, and by then his broken knee joint had soldiered to his femur, hobbling him for life. He was a broken little ball of hiss, and after months of rehabilitation, we couldn't bear to part with him. He's loved very much.

Precious

Precious

Precious was MEAN when she showed up. She came with her brother, Shadow, and neither of them wanted much to do with anyone. After weeks of gentle love and coaching, Precious became a loving, affectionate lap cat, forgetting her earlier hostility entirely.

Shadow

Shadow

Shadow came with his sister, precious, and did not want to be touched what so ever. This persisted much longer than his sister. Ultimately we resorted to putting on Oven mits, and petting him whether he liked it or not. He liked it. A lot. within days he was a whole new cat, affectionate, playful, and loving. My family loved him very much.

Luna

Luna

Luna was abandoned and found in the basement of Henniger High School. She was shy, and angry, and no amount of coaxing would make her accept and more than a slight pat on the head. Luna tragically turned out FIV positive, and could not be colonized that way, but just as she was facing being put down someone stepped up and took her, and she's free to live out her days with another FIV+ cat in a safe home.

Handsome

Handsome

Handsome was shoved into a closet below a stairwell, with another cat (Butters) for a long time. The end result was this poor boy, though loving and playful, was extremely claustrophobic and could not be with certain other cats. After weeks of isolation, because he would fight with other cats, he was moved to a secondary foster, to see if it was ALL cats, or just ours. It was ours. He was adopted several weeks later, and is happy, healthy, and now named Lucas.

Butters

Butters

Butters was locked in a closet, under a stairwell, with another cat (Handsome). As a result his social skills were impaired, and while he was an absolutely wonderful cat - we actually wanted to adopt him ourselves! - he just could not be with other cats. But this boy has a wonderful personality and he was adopted by a doting father who spoils him rotten, and he deserves every bit of it.

Roger

Roger

Poor Roger was a stinky boy. He would spray everything our of nervousness, and it was so bad he needed to be kept in isolation. After he was fixed, and stopped doing that, he emerged as a loving, affectionate, bossy boy who demanded your love and affection. His mittens (Pterodactyl) gave him personality. He was adopted by a loving father, and is now spoiled with free run of the place.
